Withdrawing from my 401k

Withdrawing from my 401k Hey everyone. I have recently come upon financially tight times and I have no one to consult about this. I am wondering if it is wise to pull some money from my 401k. If it helps I am M 23y/o and work in the manufacturing industry. I make around $25/hr 40hrs or so a week. Thank you. submitted by /u/inspector-say10

Withdrawing from a Roth IRA

Withdrawing from a Roth IRA I need to pull money out of my Roth account. I had contributed 18k total, and want to withdraw 5k. All the money is currently invested. Can I sell any stock I want from my portfolio in order to get that 5k without having to pay taxes? submitted by /u/newmanz4

Withdrawing from 401k at retirement When withdrawing from 401k, do you have the option to pay taxes at the time of withdrawal vs when you file taxes? For example i want to take out money and not pay tax but pay the tax when I do my tax return. submitted by /u/Psa0967

Withdrawing from 401k while jobless?

Withdrawing from 401k while jobless? Let’s say I was out of a job for a year. As a result, I have no income coming in. Due to the situation I then need to withdraw from my 401k early. Does this mean my income tax would be at the lowest possible tax bracket given I am out of a job? Or is it based on the last job you had? submitted by /u/whatsonthemindtoday

Withdrawing 4% vs 5% rule

Withdrawing 4% vs 5% rule Say I have a $1.5M nest egg. I’ve read if I withdraw 4% yearly I won’t run of money for 30 years. If I withdraw 5%, all other things being equal, how long should my money last? Thanks. submitted by /u/Candy-Emergency
