I’m new to photography and just came back from vacation with my first camera. I pulled out some of the EXIF data from the vacation pics and plotted two histograms of the focal length and aperture that I shot at.
I’m new to photography and just came back from vacation with my first camera. I pulled out some of the EXIF data from the vacation pics and plotted two histograms of the focal length and aperture that I shot at. From this data I would say: 1) I am maxing out the zoom on my 18-55 mm, 2) maybe I would be better off with a farther-reaching lens(?), and/or 3) I don’t know how to position myself physically to take a photo and therefore am not using the lower focal lengths as much.
