LPT If your home smells (due to cooking or any other reason), toast a loaf of bread to near burning. The entire home will smell like baked bread and the bad smell will be covered by it. Ventilation of course is probably best, but this is especially good to use during the winter when you can’t open windows to let fresh air in. submitted by /u/gilsoo71

LPT if you have a blender bottle that has rancid protein smell in it, shake some rubbing alcohol inside then rinse thoroughly. It’s always instantly removed the smell for me. This has always worked with the “Blender Bottle” brand bottles. I’d imagine it would work with any similar material. I haven’t tried it with a stainless steel blender bottle though. submitted by /u/Xipos

LPT: exhaling thru your mouth and sniffing the air isn’t an accurate method to smell your own breath. Instead, lick the back of your hand, wipe it dry, then immediately smell it. You’ll get a good indication of what others are smelling submitted by /u/PluckPubes
