I was watching F1 Qualifying for Mexican Grand Prix and after the qualifying finished a beep happens on my tv. Then a black screen but in the top left there was 2 identical screens saying PCR 5 Sky Feed with Sky Productions and Sky Sports at the bottom, …

Cloudy Night Sky I have recently got into Long Exposure at night. Been doing it for 2 days, maybe 3 hours total spent stood outside freezing lol. But I love it. Been playing around with different settings to find the best for the light pollution. This is my favourite shot so far, I just love the motion on the clouds, was a 2 minute timer, was very dark outside. …

My photos leave a lot to be desired in terms of framing etc but one big thing is the backdrop – it’s either wall or the rest of my room. Is there a relatively inexpensive software that would let me try adding sky or a distant backdrop onto a photo I’ve taken on my phone? T…

Suggestions for night sky video camera? I am interested in purchasing a camera to do videos of things like Starlink satellite passovers, or rockets (after launch) flying over the area where i live. I can actually video them with an iPhone, but as you can imagine, the quality is lacking! I have had some suggest GoPro, but I don’t know if that would be much better. I guess I’m looking f…
Thoughts? Is the sky too unnatural? Clicked this photo of Mt Rainier using my first camera (Canon RP and 16mm lens) and edited using lightroom mobile. Appreciate any feedback. I’m confused between leaving the sky blue vs this teal color. I like the teal aesthetic but what do people think? Also would like to know about framing, cropping and lighting in general. submitted by …
What Is That String of Lights in the Sky? The other night as I was walking home, I took a look up and saw a strange string of lights traveling across the sky. This was certainly no plane, and I doubted it was a procession of drones, as the lights were moving in a straight line at a consistent speed. But what was it? Read more…

Basically when light is super diffused, bright, but overcast and gloomy, what settings are you supposed to use to account for the sky I tried it on auto and all my skies are overblown submitted by /u/2deep4u
