Argh!! Skin texture problem I’m 1 month shy of turning 45 and need help with skin texture when wearing foundation. Over the past year I’ve mostly stuck to using concealer as needed and not liquid foundation but I’ve got several bottles that I’d hate to go to waste. I decided to play with some new products I purchased but the real issue is my foundation emphasizing skin tex…

The two darker tones are the tones under my eyes, and the pink tone is my natural lip color. I noticed that my overall skin tone leans a bit yellow (warm?), my undereyes are on the red-…

Why do foundations all look yellow/tan on my skin?

Why do foundations all look yellow/tan on my skin? Can’t I find a color that matches my skin tone exactly, or are you not supposed to do that? Based on my searching, it’s like foundation wants to give you the appearance of dead, waxy skin, and completely forgets that there’s red tones in living skin. I don’t get it. New to makeup, just wondering what I’m missing here. submitted by /u/Quee…

Help with oily skin I just re-discovered this subreddit so forgive me if this question has been asked recently. I’ve only been doing my makeup for the last 3-4 years, and for awhile I used the same products that I felt like worked well for my skin to keep the oil at bay. But for the last year it’s like these same products don’t work anymore? Example: for awhile I u…
