SIXT Car Rental Hi there, traveling in a week. I am on Sixt’s website and I love driving German cars. I want to book an X5 but it also says ‘or similar’. SIXT Tried to scam me, beware As the title says, car rental company Sixt tried to scam me by trying to charge me “damages” done to a car I rented 2 MONTHS after I used it. Rented a car on Aug. 15th, returned it on Aug 17th. Got an email on Oct 12 that a claim had been made by them and were going to charge me for damages done to the car.
