Which singer/songwriter, or song, resonates with you more than any other, and why?

Which singer/songwriter, or song, resonates with you more than any other, and why? I’ve always been able to connect with Kurt Cobain and his music. I was very young when he died, and didn’t listen to Nirvana until I was early teens. I’ve been through hardships, but I’ve never been so depressed to be suicidal. His music and his voice when he sings, I can feel the pain in it. submitted by /u/JellyfishArm

What singer’s voice does not match their appearance?

What singer’s voice does not match their appearance? When I first heard David Gilmour’s voice, combined with his appearance at old age (after his hair had gone gray), I thought he was blonde. Also, Rick Astley at age 21 sounded at least 40. For my dad, the answer to this is Lionel Richie. submitted by /u/Ok-Impress-2222
