Viltrox 56mm f/1.7, —”—f/1.4, OR Sigma 56mm f/1.4? I want a new lens for my Z fc. I haven’t gone out to do the photographs I want to take due to lack of a “proper” lens (proper as in appropriate for what I want to shoot, not the best possible). I’m thinking of these three. The Viltrox 56mm f/1.4 seems to win over many, but I read more about purple fringing on that one. I pixel peep and I’m neve…

Zeiss or Sigma?

Zeiss or Sigma? What are people’s thoughts on the Zeiss Milvus ZF.2 85mm f1.4 vs the Sigma Art HSM 85mm 1.4? Both are similarly priced for me. I’m trying to choose a portrait lens to complement my Nikkor 105mm f1.4. Manual focus is not too big an issue for me, especially with portraits. submitted by /u/PawsomePat

Is the sigma 56mm f/1.4 worth it over viltrox?

Is the sigma 56mm f/1.4 worth it over viltrox? which 56mm apsc lens (85 mm equivalent) would be better: the sigma 1.4 used ($290) or viltrox 1.7 new ($190)? I need it for studio headshots as well as events (rarely). I don’t have a huge budget, so I’m wondering if the sigma would be worth getting for 100 bucks more. I shoot on a sony a6100. submitted by /u/Ultramango657
