Carefirst insurance saying they don’t know if they’ll cover a procedure until AFTER the procedure is done? It’s a vision procedure, but apparently is supposed to be covered under regular medical insurance. “Placement of amniotic membrane on fluid of eye without sutures”. The doctor office said they called carefirst, who then said they don’t know if they’ll cover it until after it’s done. This seems absolutely beyond ridiculous to me. Any thoughts? …
