Cheap used photo monitors? Hey all, I’m keen on finding some older displays that are colour accurate and considered “true to life”. I’ve always had mediocre displays but I’m seeing a absolute tonne of used LCDs now, for very cheap. Are there any bargains to be had which are food for photo editing? Are any of the slightly older mac displays solid? Should I look for specif…

Trying to Save this Photo Hobbyist here. I took this photo on our trip to Yellowstone a couple of years ago and I keep tinkering with edits to try to improve it. Out of the camera, the background is very overexposed, but I like the detail of the bison’s eye and nose. I’m going for an “old west” photo with the sepia tone. submitted by /u/Crippled_by_Apathy …
Blurry photo correction/restoration Hi All, I have a special photo of my dad and I which was taken about 10 years ago on a phone from that time. As you can imagine, its not the greatest quality. I would like to find out if anyone knows of any free websites or apps which could restore the photo? I used a website called VanceAI which worked perfectly, the sample (with watermarks)…
Which photos for a small photo contest. Hi I’m thinking of entering a small photo contest about a local village, the theme is from people to the environment. I have some photos of the valley where the village is located but I don’t know which one of them should choose. The first 5 photos I like but the rest I’m like missing something or I don’t know submitted by /u/Haulpa

How to learn photo editing? Where to start? Hey everyone, I’m 28 years old and I want to get into picture editing. I’m trying to decide whether I should begin by learning MidJourney techniques for generating images or start with Adobe Photoshop. Here’s what I think, and I’d appreciate your input on the best approach. In my view, for beginners, starting with Photoshop might be a good choic…

How should I upgrade my Photo Setup??? Hey All! I am a semi-pro photographer looking to take the next step in terms of my kit! I am on the fence on whether I should invest in more EF Lenses for my current body or switch over to a newer system. I shoot mostly Concerts, Wildlife, and Sports! I would really like to have a setup that allows for great videos too 🙂 Any and all advice is h…
How is the editing in this photo? Hello! I recently edited a photo that I think came out really good. I never did so much to a photo, I normally just lower the exposure and mess with the colors a little bit and see where that gets me. I tried something new and I think it looks really good and wanted to see what others think, because of course I know nothing about photo editing a…

What to do with this photo? I’m just getting into car photography/film and decided to make a fun project out of it. This was taken on a mirrorless, but I’ll be scanning a b/w film shot and attempting to color it manually in PS to replicate this shot. I tried a crop, but not too satisfied with it. What should be done to this photo to improve it. A polarizing filter was used…

HDR Photo tips? That’s really it. I see so many photos that are close to mine but so much better and I’m realizing it’s cause it’s HDR. I know there’s “how to” videos everywhere, but I’m more curious rn what your tips and tricks are when shooting HDR. Or gear you use when doing so. Thanks in advance submitted by /u/Double-0-N00b

LPT: If you’re sending out invitations for an event and don’t care about the aesthetic of your cards, use a photo center and choose the photo option vs card option. The prices are much more reasonable I’m not cheap by any means, but when I was looking at Shutterfly and a couple of other print shops for my wedding invite I could not believe the price jump because I selected the cardstock the invites would be printed on. It wasn’t anything fancy, just thicker paper. I played around and set my own invite design as a picture at a photo center wit…
