Why do some tv shows become a parody of themselves and how to avoid that? I think everyone knows famous and liked series that suffered this fate. The characters become simplified versions of their previous selves, most of the dialogue becomes snappy one liners, as if only their precense would be enough to convey meaning and make the audience entertained.
