Work started offering Roth 401k, what to do with Traditional?

Work started offering Roth 401k, what to do with Traditional? I’ve been investing into my jobs Traditional 401k. They have started allowing the option to do Roth as well. Should I keep everything in my Traditional but invest everything going forward into the Roth, do half and half, roll any over? I’m pretty new to all of this but for reference, I have around 60k in my Traditional last time I checked (edit)…

My job recently started offering Roth 401k should I switch my contributions?

My job recently started offering Roth 401k should I switch my contributions? Like the title says my job is now offering Roth 401k in addition to a regular 401k. I’m 29 making around 85k. Currently I’m contributing 10% plus a 5% match. Does it make sense to change my future contributions over to Roth? I’m also looking at opening a Roth IRA, but don’t plan to fully fund it. submitted by /u/loganbull

Is offering a discount for shares a practical strategy?

Is offering a discount for shares a practical strategy? I have a website selling wall art & t-shirts and am wondering if offering a substantial discount (i.e. 40% or more) for social media shares/reposts is a practical strategy. I’m surely not the first person to think of this so I’m hoping some of you here have tried it and can share you experiences. I’ve never gotten far with social media, rarely p…

I want to start an e-learning company for finance professionals. What would be the best way to start? Start a free blog first and then start offering courses? Or should I jump straight into offering courses?

I want to start an e-learning company for finance professionals. What would be the best way to start? Start a free blog first and then start offering courses? Or should I jump straight into offering courses? I’m specifically an FP&A professional so a lot of my initial content would be centered around that. I’d probably plan on expanding to Accounting and other areas under Finance (treasury, taxation, etc.). Any advice on best approach if my goal is eventually to create a paid e-learning company? submitted by /u/Monkfrootx
