I tried to take a photo of the moon (with my phone) and it turned out really weird, can someone explain? So, like the title says, today I tried taking a photo of the moon with my phone (iPhone 11 if that helps anything). I did have this timer thingy on (I‘m not sure how it‘s called) for 2 seconds where it like takes the photo for multiple seconds, not actually a timer, and I didn’t realise it, so I moved my phone before the photo was actually done….

Moon photos came out awful I’m not sure what the heck I did so wrong. Sony a7iii 70-200. I had a tripod. I set everything to manual but just couldn’t get the exposure correctly or get focus on the moon. I had my iso super low and didn’t leave the shutter opened very long at all and no matter what I did it was just blowing everything out. Do I need a nd filter to get thes…
