Gen-Xers had weird songs become cultural phenoms (ie I’m Too Sexy, Tom’s Diner, & Mmm Mmm Mmm.) What are equivalent songs for Gen Y and Z? It may be hard to answer if you didn’t live it, but I’m thinking of those weird songs that bucked music trends of it’s time to become a smash hit from an unknown artist that everyone talked about.
