LPT: To remove permanent marker from hard surfaces, write over it with dry erase marker. It will then wipe away easily. I learned this trick from my mom, who is a teacher. She writes in sharpie on her whiteboards for things that need to stay up for an extended period of time, and this is how she removes it when it’s not longer needed. Rubbing alcohol also works wonders for other surfaces (and skin). submitted by /u/MikesEars
