Why does make-up make me look bad? I had my make-up done by HMUAs several times for weddings and other events but I think that any look is not flattering on me. This has been my struggle all my adult life because I don’t know what instructions to give the HMUA so they can improve my look especially for glam make-up. Here are photos of my all dolled-up look, every day make-up look and just a bare face. Hope you can give some notes on the dos and dont’s for my face. Thanks! submitted by /u/stormbor…

What am I doing wrong here? I tried following a tutorial with the pallet I was using but mine sure didn’t look like hers 😭 I know my eyeliner doesn’t match and I don’t know how to do brows so I don’t even bother 😭 I tried watching a NikkieTutorials video using the Blood Lust pallet but mine doesn’t look even remotely like hers. I thought if I bought a “luxurious” pallet and used different brushes that it would look better but it didn’t 🙁 also i can’t put lashes on …
LPT Request: How to respond when someone says ” you look tired”? I sarcastically say ‘thank you’. but there has to be better ones out there submitted by /u/erdocsgg
Why do foundations all look yellow/tan on my skin? Can’t I find a color that matches my skin tone exactly, or are you not supposed to do that? Based on my searching, it’s like foundation wants to give you the appearance of dead, waxy skin, and completely forgets that there’s red tones in living skin. I don’t get it. New to makeup, just wondering what I’m missing here. submitted by /u/Quee…

How can I look more feminine? I do pretty good (I suppose) when I actually do have makeup on, but I still feel like I look masculine or something. My aim is to look cute and approachable but I feel like I look too much like a tough, mean, older woman (I’m 21). Could be my hair? Not sure. Any ideas? submitted by /u/SunflowerFairy222
LPT: If you are self conscious about the way you smell, look at your diet Meat, dairy, cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, etc.) and alcohol are the biggest culprits, but different people may have different triggers, as well. Drinking water shortly after a meal also helps cleanse your breath. Hydration may also help with body odour but I don’t have any solid sources to confirm that. submitted by /u/benji…
Do I look good with lashes? I’ve never been the one to wear them but I tried. submitted by /u/toobrokey

Fujifilm X100 Film Look Hey friends! I’m super new to photography and just got my hands on a Fujifilm x100 for the summer. I was wanting some help on recipes because all of them seem to be drowned out by the x100v 😅 I was wanting a recipe that looks as close to film as possible without having to do any editing in post. i’m just really new with everything to do with ph…
Update: trying not to look like my mom! 2nd try 1+2: naked face (or as I like to put it, “raw skin”) 3-6: bad indoor lighting. 7+8: sunny outdoor under awning. 9+10: the befores from my previous post submitted by /u/poup_soup_boogie

Why am I looking so much like my mom? (Please help me not look older than I am!) 32 years old and I basically haven’t changed my makeup routine in a decade. This is probably what’s wrong. I moisturize, I am careful with my skin, but what am I doing that is making me look so much older? I don’t understand/don’t want to learn contouring. I didn’t feel like doing my eyebrows today, but usually I would. Why am I looking so ragge…
My photos look much sharper when shooting indoors over outdoors. Is there any reason why as why this could be? I use a Canon 6D alongside a 50mm 1.8 STM lens. I can’t figure out why some pictures come out blurrier than expected when shooting outside. submitted by /u/photography27
New here ! Make-up look for a festival Hi there ! I did this last week for a festival. It had been a while since I played with colors ! I’m happy with it ☺️ I had just sprayed my face with my setting spray when I took the pic so I wasn’t THAT shiny when it dried, but I kinda like this wet look… Pay no attention to my brows, I was top lazy/late to do them. I didn’t wear lipstick, c…
