Help me justify an unnecessary purchae Long time lurker. I am 61, wife is 55. I make 150K, wife makes 70K, and I am collecting a 40K pension. Zero debt. We have 1.5M in retirement assets, own our home. Wife will get a pension as well. We are saving 25% of our income. I am driving an 11 year old Subaru with 150K on it.
