How to make finished basement more inviting? It’s our primary living space Our basement flooded earlier this year and wr finally had our floors refinished. Opposite the couch is where our TV unit goes. Back behind the couch, we plan on installing a bar/counter between the two support pillars with stools. A rug is obviously a must under the couch.
