However a colleague says that offering raw images is a bad practice because they dont show of your best work. Im interested in other opinions on the subject. Licensing images – Rates? (tourism)

Licensing images – Rates? (tourism) I am curious on what would be a good reference/starting point for knowing what a good rate would be for image licensing. I’ve had a few tourism boards reach out to me asking about licensing my images for use on their website – cover, blogs, etc. I’ve even had them ask for full perpetual rights, in which I refused and said I can offer monthly or…

De Noise Images?

De Noise Images? Hey Everyone. So I took some concert photography pictures, which were, of course, very dark. I had my ISO up to 32000 for some of the photos (I know this is horrible but it was the only way to expose my photos right) My thought was the lightroom classic AI denoise would fix it but its not working very well at all since theres faces in almost al…

What size would you recommend for uploading images online?

What size would you recommend for uploading images online? Hi all, thought I’d stop by to get some tips on resolutions for uploading. I’ve been uploading my aviation photography for a few months, however have been struggling between uploading in 1280px or 1600px. I simply do this to allow for a reduced quality in the event of somebody stealing the images, as well as covering lighter problems such as mot…

Product Images – Aspect Ratio and Watermarks

Product Images – Aspect Ratio and Watermarks Years ago when I started my Shopify site I went with product images that are wider than they are tall and I added my branding to the bottom left. I’m looking at google shopping and it seems like everything is 1:1 ratio and there are not watermarks. Is it worth re-doing all of my product images? Is a 1:1 ratio and blank background the way to go?…
