Preferred way to digitize film? I’m new to film. I’ve gotten some rolls developed on CD but they came out terribly. Found a great spot that’ll do the negatives for cheap. I’m considering investing in a negative film scanner. Any suggestions? submitted by /u/M3rcilyss

Mounting modern lenses to older film cameras? The place where I live has a flea market full of newer lenses but no M42 mount lenses. I want to try mounting something like an EF mount to my M42 camera but I can only find adapters that are the other way around (as m42 lenses for DSLR cameras). Any hope for this? submitted by /u/Soros_G

Can I freeze exposed film? Hello, I learned that it is okay to freeze film to extend the health of the film beyond expiration. I was wondering if it was okay to do the same once the film has been exposed? I have to mail in my film for development and would rather bulk send than individually send them. After I’ve finished a roll is it okay to freeze it? If so how long do I…

LPT reflective window film can help keep the heat out and the AC bill down TLDR: heat reflective window film is relatively affordable, easy to install, and keeps the temp down in rooms with sunny windows. I know it’s too late for the current US heat wave but with summer rolling in for many folks I wanted to post about heat reflective window film. I only learned about this last year and installed it in our kitchen wind…
