Is expose to the right and protect your highlights contradictory terms? I keep hearing ETTR thrown around and keep seeing videos about it but then I’ve heard that digital cameras do better with raising the shadows in post so you should expose for your highlights to ensure no details get lost. To me it sounds like one wants the histogram to the right and the other wants it to the left. Or does it mean just don’t blow…
