When exactly IS it a good idea to take out a personal loan to repay cc debt? I know this gets posted a lot but I’ve been putting thought to it. When is the right solution to take out a personal loan? I’m paying off multiple cards now but only get paid once a month. If I can find a loan that has interest less than my total cc interest, do I do it? Obviously shred/ lock the card, maybe even close them when paid off… but…

How exactly does 401k work? I’ve just been curious. So I know companies do matching up to 6% or so. But those matching funds require vesting, idk maybe 2 or3 years. If you leave they take them back. But isnt the 401k a brokerage account? The money is used to buy some combination of stocks and bonds. Due to this the value of the account can fluctuate. So I don’t get it. So …
