Full-frame vs Cropped – lens distortion (?)

Full-frame vs Cropped – lens distortion (?) Hi all, I currently own a Sony a6400 and am looking to sell for a Fujifilm X-T4 for several reasons, but for the prices of those cameras, I can also just get a full-frame camera. My main concern now is, considering crop factor, will you notice any distortion with using something like a 20mm cropped vs a 30mm FF (and other lenses alike)? Thanks …

Struggling with composition and distortion. What to do?

Struggling with composition and distortion. What to do? My interest in amateur photography began when I started shooting from my phone camera years ago. After getting a Google Pixel phone, my hobby has taken a serious turn. I’ve tried various ways to improve my shots – using solid surfaces like ledges and railings as stabilizers, crouching to get to eye level, visiting the rooftops of parking garages…

This photo is a good demonstration of the effect. Notice only the center appears sharp. Contrast with this one which was shot at f/22 and everything is sharp. I think there is something wrong with the…

Is lens distortion a “problem” that can’t be easily fixed in post?

Is lens distortion a “problem” that can’t be easily fixed in post? I’m researching between two wide lenses, and multiple people online have said something like “27mm is fine but 24mm starts to distort geometry/faces”. I’m under the impression that lens distortion from a wide FOV can be fixed with a single slider in lightroom. Am I wrong, is it imperfect/reduces image quality, etc.? submitted by /u/weedde…
