University disbursement I pay my college with a 529 account and this year between grants and scholarships the university pays me back roughly 3k. Does this need to be put back in a 529? Or can I keep the cash. Thanks submitted by /u/knoxyds

Recently laid off, employer is forcing 401k disbursement. What should I do with it? HR changed their prior policies, informing me that my 401k will be distributed within a few weeks.
