Does flash height impact diffusion? When using an on-camera flash in combination with an AK diffuser, does the height of the flash impact the diffusion? Are all 1/8 and 1/4 black diffusion filters similar in strength? Deciding between a neewer and a k&f 1/8 black mist filter, does anyone recommend either brand? The neewer is 10 dollars cheaper so its not a huge difference in price. submitted by /u/meatpounder

Diffusion filter strength values – help understanding fraction vs percentage conversion I currently have a moment cinebloom filter 20%. I want to try out another brand, and the other is measured in fractions. They offer 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2. I want a step down from 20% as I find that a bit much sometimes.
