LPT If you don’t want to hardwire your dashcam you can just plug it into a power bank that is always plugged in the cigarette lighter. That way you get the dashcam still on after the car is switched off and locked. Probably not as good as being hardwired. It won’t stay on overnight or more but it will still cover you for few hours. Enough for shopping trips or appointments. The positive is that it will not suck out a car battery dry and is a lot cheaper than having it installed by your mechanic. submitted by /u/DownImpulse
