A6000 vs D3300?

A6000 vs D3300? Hello, I’m trying to get into photography as a serious habit (have some experience), but I’m severely constrained by funds. I’m eyeing a Sony A6000 (with 16-50 mm and 55-210 mm zoom lens) @ $400 from local seller and Nikon D3300 (body only ~300 shutter count) @ $240 on eBay. I want to buy a prime lens and hone my skills with it (so either way I …

Nikon D3300 lens advice

Nikon D3300 lens advice Ok, so I love taking photos but am a total noob and know very little about photography. I have an old Nikon D3300 and I’m going to Japan in a week – I’d love to take some street and landscape photos (I live in the desert so I never see real seasons!), but I also have a family, so…I’ll probably be taking photos of them. Upgrading from a Nikon D3300 – D7500 or D750? Hi, I have had my D3300 for nearly eight years, I shoot mostly while travelling, landscapes (whilst hiking) and occassionally (when the chance presents) astrophotography. I am definitely a hobbiest and will likely stay that way forever. I had noticed the low light performance of the D3300 is not great at higher ISOs and was primarily looking at …

Is this fungus in the viewfinder of my D3300?

Is this fungus in the viewfinder of my D3300? I noticed some dots in the viewfinder that won’t go away even after cleaning the eyepiece. They are not visible on the photos or in liveview. There is a bigger dark dot and multiple smaller dots and a fog surrounding it. Is this fungus? If so how endangered are the lenses that i have used with the camera? I am really worried since i have just bo…

Should I buy a new lens for my Nikon D3300 and attempt my own family photography with no experience or just go to a professional?

Should I buy a new lens for my Nikon D3300 and attempt my own family photography with no experience or just go to a professional? Hey guys! I’m new to this forum.. so in 2017 when I got my first real job, I bought a Nikon D3300 because I always loved photography and taking photos. However, I’ve never had the opportunity to take any classes to learn about cameras or editing software. I played around with the camera a little bit at the time, and it eventually got packed away…
