How would you crop/composition this photo?

How would you crop/composition this photo? Hi all, I’m wondering what’s the best crop for this photo? I really like this photo that I took with film, especially that old man’s pose and expression. But because of the tight focal distance, I didn’t get the whole building in the shot. How would you edit this? submitted by /u/takemyspear

Which crop is better for this photo?

Which crop is better for this photo? Hello everyone, first post, so I’m sorry if I’m doing this wrong. I would like to know which crop looks better for this photo, or if there is a better way I could do it. Also I’m not sure if I’m supposed to combine this into one post, but I would also like some editing feedback. I have a habit of over editing sometimes. submitted by /u/Ba…

Which one is the better crop?

Which one is the better crop? I think the second one right? Cause the focus is on the middle gosling. I do like having the other gosling sin the shot though. Taken on a Canon Rebel T7 with the 75-300mm lens. Shutter speed 1000 submitted by /u/Xsi_218

Any issues with a full frame lens on a crop sensor for macro photography?

Any issues with a full frame lens on a crop sensor for macro photography? Was thinking of pairing my family’s old d3200 (f mount, crop sensor) with a Tokina 100mm f/2.8 AT-X M100 AF for macrophotography (interested in insect macros). Would I have any problems with this/is another lens recommended? To my understanding it’d function as a 150mm f/4.2 FF equivalent, but that might help me in that I can be further from sub…

Tamron 600mm on a Nikon D810 (Full Frame) vs. a Nikon D5300 (Crop Sensor) – does the extra reach achieved by using a crop sensor provide a higher resolution image than cropping in on an image taken with the full frame to achieve the same result?

Tamron 600mm on a Nikon D810 (Full Frame) vs. a Nikon D5300 (Crop Sensor) – does the extra reach achieved by using a crop sensor provide a higher resolution image than cropping in on an image taken with the full frame to achieve the same result? I have a Tamron 150-600mm. I have a Nikon D810 (36.3 megapixel) and a Nikon D5300 (24.1 megapixel). The 600mm on the D5300 will appear to be a bit more ‘zoomed in’ because the image is cropped to the smaller sensor size. The question I have is whether there is a benefit to using the 5300 for the extra reach (does it provide a higher resolution…

Low Crop or High Crop? Hi all, was wondering which crop would you people prefer? Apologies if the first photo is slightly blury, I have not done any major editing to it yet, so just assume the quality is equal for both photos. Software to crop and flatten automatically photographed documents ? Like phones but with saved photos

Software to crop and flatten automatically photographed documents ? Like phones but with saved photos Hi, Nowadays most phones have apps to “scan” documents : they take a photo of it, crop it automatically, flatten it, some corrections, etc. I have a lot of documents to scan and my scanner is awfully slow. I would like to use the same process with using my camera to get better results. Do you know a software available on Windows that do this wel…

Crop A or B?

Crop A or B? The foreground is busier than I’d like, especially the empty bench as it draws the eye, however I wasn’t having luck with the erase tool in Lightroom. Is the second crop too close with the subjects at the bottom edge of the frame? Or does the empty bench add interesting contrast to all the people sitting on the grass? submitted by /u/lce9…

Can I replicate this shot at 400mm with cropping and a crop sensor lens?

Can I replicate this shot at 400mm with cropping and a crop sensor lens? I’m investing in a mirrorless setup (R50 + RF100-400) after spending far too much time with a cheap point-and-shoot, the FZ80. Out of all the atrocious pictures it’s taken, some highlights have shown through with its’ long range, such as this, taken at 1200mm. To get to the point, I want to know if, with the boost in quality that comes with mirr…
