Thoughts on this composition? submitted by /u/henconst796
As far as composition, how is this photo? Found this staircase in Positano. Only had my phone with be, but I felt like I could get a nice photo. I’m very much an amateur photographer and I always try to focus on composition first. In terms of composition, is there anything that could be better? I feel like my eyes either hit too many dead ends or get led off the photo entirely. subm…
Any feedback, particularly related to composition and mood would be greatly appreciated! submitted by /u/leblaun

Thoughts on composition and post processing (desaturation)? I’m a pretty new photographer who lucked intoba few paid adventure travel gigs. For this shot, i was kayaking off the coast of Maine right before a big storm came in. With the rain and choppy water, I didn’t want to risk bringing out my camera and instead took this shot on expert raw mode with my phone. I wasn’t super happy with it on first gla…
Ideas on how to fix? Was playing around with settings and my favorite composition produced way too much contrast/too little detail. Trying to fix in post but not content. Any help is appreciated! Too dark? Honestly should probably abandon it for the lack of quality but I love the idea too much and can’t go back. submitted by /u/coffeeisloveislife
How is my shot composition? I took this on a phone from my car window, and I’m trying to work on my shot composition before I get a dslr. Mind the over-saturated colors, auto hdr was on. submitted by /u/tjwalkr0

Which composition is best? And any other feedback requested! I’ve only recently got into photography so have just been snapping some shots in London. Interested to hear peoples thoughts on the above and what compositions work best – and any other constructive criticism is welcomed! The above were taken with a Fuji XT5, sigma 18-50 f2.8 and edited in Lightroom submitted by /u/cj4962
Amateur photographer and would love to get some critiques on composition editing! Trying to improve so all critiques, tips and advice is welcome! Thank you! submitted by /u/Traditional_Chain_10
Is this editing style too heavy? What do you think about the light/composition/colors and what would you do different? submitted by /u/_thaumazein
Street photography composition ideas So I did some street photography for the first time yesterday, probably doing it again today and I’d like some basic ideas that always turn out good, like shooting down a spiral staircase, shooting reflections in water puddles, shooting at neon signs, long shutter speed from a bridge going over a road at night – giving the red and white car ligh…
Any recommendations for photography composition courses? I know and understand the rule of thirds, and foreground/middle ground/background composition techniques, but I sometimes struggle in composing my photos as an all encompassing picture (i.e. full foreground/middle ground/background composition). I understand it’s partly about practice, but can anyone suggest any courses that may assist me in dev…
