Is nearly 5.8% too high for Financial Advisor commission fees? I have a financial advisor via my bank. They charge about a 5.8% fee (rounded up) every time I make a deposit into either my IRA (invested) or my non retirement investment account. So if I deposit into both, both get hit with the fee.
