LPT: if you ever get around to trying durian (and I hope you do!), eat it CHILLED, not room temp! That makes a huge difference! It’s like drinking a fruit smoothie chilled vs room temp. Or eating raw oysters or drinking beer. Some things are just much better chilled! For people unfamiliar with durians and trying it for the first time, the smell can definitely be off-putting, which then unfortunately affects how they perceive the taste. Chill…
