Biggest 2-Faced/Snake Characters on Television Shows

Biggest 2-Faced/Snake Characters on Television Shows I’m binge-watching ER and I cannot decide which character is more detestable: Dr. Kerry Weaver or Dr. Robert Romano. I am leaning toward declaring Weaver to be a more horrible, two-faced person because she has, on more than one occasion, screwed over other characters just to save her own skin, but she presents herself outwardly as a good person….

Toxic characters

Toxic characters Here’s something that seriously bothers me about tv shows is how they have so many main characters that are so dislike-able and so selfish and nobody ever calls them out on it and even worse they enable the hell out of them. For example Delilah on a million little things is continuisly selfish in her behavior with all of her friends and family. An…

What are your favorite “Firsts” (ie first kiss between two gay characters, first all-musical episode, first interracial couple, etc.) in TV history?

What are your favorite “Firsts” (ie first kiss between two gay characters, first all-musical episode, first interracial couple, etc.) in TV history? Hi, Hope you’re doing well. This is a tricky question to ask because breaking new ground is practically impossible these days (so you have to go back a bit and perhaps before your time) but since TV has been around for around a century now I’m curious to discuss with you lot about your favorite “firsts” and also examples of this they you’ve seen…

Type of TV show characters that you’ve been obsessed with lately

Type of TV show characters that you’ve been obsessed with lately Lately I’ve been super obsessed with the show mom one of the main characters Bonnie Plunkett. It had me thinking I’ve been really loving the characters that have had a wild past made a LOT of mistakes (hot messes if you will) but are trying to better themselves, they slip up and stumble a lot you can see how tough their self improvement journey …

Is there a word to describe these TV shows where the characters and on-screen in-jokes very insular and the show’s main focus?

Is there a word to describe these TV shows where the characters and on-screen in-jokes very insular and the show’s main focus? Obviously any TV show will have its own memes, but it seems like there’s a kind of specific phenomenon that sometimes happens where the show sort of morphs into an excuse to see the same ol’ characters doing their silly things with each other. The full cast, even antagonists, seem to be just a big ol’ family. I think this was particularly appare…

Shows with good deep-cover spy characters?

Shows with good deep-cover spy characters? Two of my favorite characters from TV shows are Garek, from Star Trek: DS9, and Luthen, from Andor. Both playing long term, deep-cover spies, and both doing an incredible job at it. Are there other shows with similar characters I could watch? What shows have the best spy characters? If the “who” of the character is a surprise, I’d be happy to ge…

Who are some important characters never seen but always mentioned?

Who are some important characters never seen but always mentioned? I was watching Seinfeld and remembered Kramer has a friend named Bob Sacamano. He is always mentioned but never makes an appearance. Are there any tv shows that have characters like that – named and mentioned but never seen – who are very important or who influence the plot? Even characters who speak but are never seen also counts, like Charlie…

Just finished the pilot episode of The Resident. Shocked at how toxic and unlikable the characters are.

Just finished the pilot episode of The Resident. Shocked at how toxic and unlikable the characters are. I had high hopes going into this series because I was a super fan of ER and heard good things about this show. But after finishing the pilot episode I was shocked at the level of toxicity exhibited by the characters towards each other. Main hotshot doctor: I get it, he knows his shit and that gives him leeway to do things his way. But is there n…

The Deep from The Boys is one of the most interesting TV characters of the last decade.

The Deep from The Boys is one of the most interesting TV characters of the last decade. Hear me out here. I’m not saying he is my favorite character or even the best character of the last decade. But he is one of the most interesting and unique by far. Not because of sex with sea creatures or because a lot of weird shit happens to him but because the range of emotional taxation, obligatory and nuanced trauma and layers from superpo…

Who are some “Dumb Guy/Gal” TV characters who are a lot smarter or deeper than they appear to be?

Who are some “Dumb Guy/Gal” TV characters who are a lot smarter or deeper than they appear to be? Sgt. Schultz on Hogan’s Heroes- I am of the belief that, despite his catchphrase, he did in fact see, hear, and know everything that was going on at the camp. I’m still not too sure about Col. Klink, but Schultz was definitely 100% on the Heroes’ side and I think that if the show had been allowed a series finale, it would’ve been revealed. Henr…
