If you had $1500 usd to spend on a camera system what would it be? Currently I have a canon t1i and a 70-200mm f4L lens that I have inherited. Currently I’m struggling with its low light performance and the autofocus on it. I am pretty new to photography so I know that those issues may be dude to my inexperience. But with all of the new mirrorless stuff that’s coming out I find the Sony and Fuji systems really…
Need camera recommendations Hi. Amateur photographer who has a broken Sony A55 with three A Mount lenses. Used mirrorless camera for about $300 recommendations I’m looking to upgrade from my Canon T1i and I’m a beginner. I mainly want to capture family outings and my kid’s soccer games (pics and videos). The Sony A6000 is about $350 body only on KEH. What are my other options in terms of brands? submitted by /u/Surfer949
What’s the best reasonably priced camera for when the subject may be moving. Recently been to my first fan convention and whilst I loved the experience, the photos taken on a smart phone not so much. I have more booked next year so I’m looking to get a proper camera to improve the quality. New to all this so I don’t want to waste money on something inappropriate for the subject. submitted by /u/FrostedElfin

Camera recommendations for product reviewer/photography I’m looking into getting a mirrorless camera to improve the quality of my images for my skincare review Instagram. Or if I’m required to do a review video for a product and I want …

Mirrorless Camera for $1000 – Suggestions Needed Hi, I’m an amateur photographer and I’m looking to buy a mirrorless camera with a lens for around $1000. I usually take landscapes, low-light, street, astro and occasionally wildlife too, I don’t take photos of people and sports. Ecosystem is not an issue for me because I’m not tied to anything yet. I just need support for a good range of lense…
How come JPEGs straight out of my camera and JPEGs exported from raw files (from the same camera) in lightroom come out at different DPI? Camera is X-T30ii I’ve noticed that JPEGs straight out of camera are 4160×6240 and 72 dpi, but JPEGs exported from editing raws in lightroom come out at the same resolution but a higher DPI?? How does that make sense if they’re the same size pixel wise? submitted by /u/okygtot
New Camera or new lens? Hello, I got an old Nikon D200 of my grandpa with two lenses 70-300mm and a 150mm one. Nearly all the photos I take are with the 70-300m lense without zoom. On the search for another lens i realized how expensive they still are. The question now is, is it still worth it to buy a used lense or to save a little and buy a new camera in the price ra…
Best Affordable digital camera options? I’m looking for recommendations on compact, relatively cheap (preferably under $100) digital camera. This is simply for fun and to take photos of certain events (football games with friends, dances, trips, etc.) so photo quality is not the most important aspect for me. I was gifted a Samsung TL220 camera a 6-7 years ago by my aunt, who is a phot…
What small camera do you use to travel? I’ve been bringing my full frame Sony A7III along with my Tamron 28-75 and 70-300mm lens on my recent trips. I’ve had the camera for 2 years now, I love the camera and the photo quality it gives me. However, I find it a bit too heavy and annoying to walk around with it in my backpack when I’m overseas (yes I’m weak af). My most recent trip made …
