Do the picture settings in the camera matter?

Do the picture settings in the camera matter? I have a Nikon Zfc and I’m experimenting with its picture settings. There are many presets in the menu like monochrome, vivid, sepia, landscape etc… as well as a various set of white balance. And I was wondering if those settings really matter while you shoot RAW. I mean, if you are going to edit all your photos is it bad to shoot with incorre…

I somehow managed to shake my camera in a weird way, I think the effect itself is actually kinda cool,d oes anyone know how to do this intentionally? Usually shake pictures are just shaky, but this one is actually rather sharp which makes this look like an effect rather than an accident. I only know of some weird defects with film cameras which can achieve similar effects. Is it maybe because of IBIS? Camera is a Sony A7R3 submitted by /u/TheStandardPlayer

I don’t understand the math on megapixels for a camera, grateful for help I’m buying my first camera, just as a hobbyist. It may be a bit ambitious/stupid, but my primary want in a camera is to be able to print/frame my shots in large scale formats (at least 3 ft x 4 ft). From my limited research, I understand that the gold standard for printing is 300 PPI/DPI. So using the 3 ft (36 in) x 4 (48 in) ft print for examp…
