Looking for ideas to beautify this mid-stairs corner. Should I cover this ugly glass block window with curtains? Or just decorate this niche with idk a potted plant and a Buddha head? It’s visible from the main entrance. (Old country house, Southern Europe) Painting retouches to be done, still a work in progress. The curtains are appealing because maybe they will help insulate a bit more: the greenhouse effect is quite strong in the summer afternoons and I dread thinking about winter.
