Personal water bottle where water isn’t safe to drink.

Personal water bottle where water isn’t safe to drink. Packing your own reusable water bottle is a popular travel trip from vloggers. Is this a good idea when traveling to countries where it isn’t safe to drink the water? Sure you would refil it from bottled water, but what about washing it? Anyone tried it? submitted by /u/dubbervt

LARQ PureVis water bottle for clean water when traveling

LARQ PureVis water bottle for clean water when traveling Has anyone used a LARQ PureVis water bottle while traveling? I’m heading to Africa later this year and was planning to use a lifestraw peak for filtering water and considering getting the LARQ to purify it. With the higher price tag I’m wondering if it’s worth it/actually works to clean water. Pretty much all reviews I’ve found are people using…

LPT Save shampoo with an extra bottle to foam it

LPT Save shampoo with an extra bottle to foam it You can wash your hair, with the full ‚foam head experience‘ with easily 1/3 (or even less) of your usual shampoo amount. And it gets as clean as you are used to 🙂 Putting shampoo in your hand or directly on your head and ‚foaming it up‘ is not really effective. What is effective is putting a bit of shampoo in any type of bottle that you can cl…

LPT Dilute your dish soap with water (1:15 or so) and put in a spray bottle. It pre foams the soap a bit, goes exactly where you need it, and makes a single bottle of soap last months. I’ve used this method for a while now, and even taking out the cost savings, it’s just a much better way to get dish soap onto dishes. But, with prices going up on everything, why not save $30-40 year. submitted by /u/FunctionalERP_92

LPT: Get your sodas without ice at events. Often times, they’ll just give you the whole bottle instead. Just went to a Dallas opera house for Hamilton and asked for a diet Pepsi. For $4, I would’ve gotten MAYBE half the bottle and a crap ton of ice. I have sensitive teeth so I often ask for no ice at events and alot of the time they just hand me the bottle. Just a simple lpt, hope it helps y’all get your money’s worth 🙂 submitted by /u/_t…

LPT Before putting back that cover on your vanilla bottle, balsamic vinegar, honey, etc, – take a damp paper towel and wipe away any excess residue on the bottle/jar top as well as the corresponding surface on the lid. You will thank yourself (and me 😊) later when you can easily reopen them again. Obviously applies to sticky drinks/food items. submitted by /u/filamita

LPT Request: Best way to collect bottle caps

LPT Request: Best way to collect bottle caps There’s a marketing campaign where I live – you collect 450 bottle caps or soda can tabs and exchange them for a PS5 slim. What do you think would be the cheapest way for me to get them? The drink itself is an energy drink. I did see a discount in one store – drink costs 0.85 eur – but what would I do with 450 opened drinks? submitted by …

Effective filtered water bottle for travel to countries with non-potable water??

Effective filtered water bottle for travel to countries with non-potable water?? I travel frequently to countries and areas where it is not safe to drink the tap water. One thing that is not discussed enough is the impact of plastic water bottles left behind from visitors. I have been looking at different filtered water bottles (Life Straw, Grayl, Clearly Filtered, etc) but all the different information is slightly overwhelm…
