Booking and Cancellation?

Booking and Cancellation? I am booking a property on booking.com there is a discounted option to pay on dec 5th or pay at pproperty. It mentions free Cancellation till Dec 10th. Does this mean that I will be charged at 5th and can cancel and get refund by 10th or means I can only cancel at 10th if I choose pay at property? Thank u!! submitted by /u/Might_Time

Cathay pacific joint booking. Upgrading one person.

Cathay pacific joint booking. Upgrading one person. A friend and I are flying to Hong Kong and we booked the flight together. I was going to try for the upgrade bid but you have to bid for both seats. I assume there’s no way to bid for just one? Or am I able to upgrade just myself at the airport check-in/desk assuming there are available seats? Thank you. submitted by /u/JohnKeyDonkey

Why do booking sites make it so difficult to have separated price breakdowns on receipts?

Why do booking sites make it so difficult to have separated price breakdowns on receipts? I travel for work a fair bit and I’ve used a few different booking sites for my flights and hotels now. I am required to bill my hotel and flights separately but every time I make a booking, I have to contact customer support and go through the painfully slow process of getting them to just send me a simple receipt which shows the price of the h…

Booking airfare through Chase question

Booking airfare through Chase question Hi all. My wife and I are booking a flight to Delhi on Lufthansa. We’re wondering if we’ll get the option to bid for an upgrade if we book through the Chase travel portal? I know there are some restrictions when it comes to booking through a travel website. For example, I don’t think we can upgrade our flight if we book through chase. I’m assumi…

Booking rooms in Sri Lanka as a lesbian couple

Booking rooms in Sri Lanka as a lesbian couple I’m going to be visiting Sri Lanka with a girlfriend (I’m a woman). We’ve traveled to many places with laws and public opinion that are unfavorable to the gay community so I’m comfortable with not showing affection in public, telling people we are friends, etc. But one thing I wanted to check on is booking hotel beds. I’ve experienced places whe…

Question about booking via Traveloka (they’re making my plans a living hell) So I made a booking via Traveloka to Tokyo in December, and it’s on Thai Airways. I 100% know the details I input were right, the PDF e-ticket reflected my name properly. I decided to check on Thai Airways website directly to manage booking, fill in the rest of the details like emergency contact etc as they usually require but found that in ther…

Crazy booking.com/expedia mess

Crazy booking.com/expedia mess OK, maybe someone else can make some sense of this. Back in May I was shopping around for a hotel room in Houston. I looked on a couple sites, including hotels.com and Booking.com, which I have an account for. The trip wasn’t going to work out so I didn’t book. Today I get a text from the Hyatt Regency Houston that they’re looking forward to ha…
