Why is my film blurry? Canon A-1?

Why is my film blurry? Canon A-1? I’m pretty new at this so I have no idea why my film turned out this way. I definitely had the frame focused when I shot it. I’m not sure if this is a scanning issue or a camera issue. Any advice would help. Thanks guys! submitted by /u/Lookas_Pookas

Why is this image so blurry?

Why is this image so blurry? I’m pretty inexperienced and just getting into analog photography. I don’t exactly remember what the settings were when shooting on this day. I doubt it had anything to do with shutter speed, considering other photos i took with the same settings in that exact moment came out fine. It was shot on a Minolta X-370n, with a 70mm-150mm macro focusin…

What is a sharp image? Is This Pic I Snapped of My Pup “Proper” Sharp, Sort of Sharp, Blurry or Too Soft? Hi All, I’ve found that I have a very difficult time sometimes telling if my images are sharp or not. Sometimes they appear to be, but on a zoom in it suddenly doesn’t seem so. I’m not sure if I’m overthinking things here or seeing things the wrong way out of inexperience, but I’d love for yall to look at this impromptu pic I shot of my pup. Thi…

Why are my Canon G7 X Mark II photos blurry?

Why are my Canon G7 X Mark II photos blurry? I have no idea why photos taken with my Canon G7 X Mark II camera look sort of blurry, almost dreamy and not crisp or sharp (unlike my iphone 12 camera – 2nd pic). Is there something that I’ve to set or is it the nature of a budget-friendly point-and-shoot camera? Please help an amateur out here thank you! submitted by /u/handfulofpotatoe…

How do you export photos from Lightroom and have them not turn out blurry when you print out wallet size photos?

How do you export photos from Lightroom and have them not turn out blurry when you print out wallet size photos? I’m struggling to figure out how to get my photos to turn out well when I print them wallet size. They look fine when they’re bigger photos like 4×6 and bigger, but the wallet size ones just keep turning out blurry. I’ve seen something about changing the DPI, but how do you do that on Lightroom? submitted by /u/cannahannahhh …

Are Group Photos with Blurry Backgrounds Possible?

Are Group Photos with Blurry Backgrounds Possible? Hey everyone, Whenever I take group photos with people stacked behind or in front of each other, I usually stop down to at least 4-5.6+ to make sure everyone is in focus. However, that always means my background is sharp and sometimes I don’t want that, I want a blurry background instead. Is it possible to take these same types of group photo…

Blurry photos?

Blurry photos? I recently took my camera out for the first time in a while so I’ve lost my touch a bit, I’ve attached an example of what I have a question about but essentially I want to know why my photo is slightly blurry, I wanted more definition in the photo and I’m not sure wether the lack of definition is due to my lens or camera settings ( more specific…

Why are my “macro” shots blurry ?

Why are my “macro” shots blurry ? Hello. I’m adding some of my “macro” shots. They’re made using a D5500 and a Sigma 105mm lense. I rarely use a tripod but the lense has a rather good stabilization. I’m also pretty stable, hand-wise. I don’t think the blur comes from shacking. I tried using a smaller aperture, or a wider because I thought the blur may come from, simply, an out …

New camera settings for blurry photos?

New camera settings for blurry photos? I have a Sony a6400 and for the life of me haven’t been able to figure out why the M5 light is blurry despite the camera telling me that it’s in focus. I shot this with a Sigma 18-50mm 2.8. I shot this photo at 50mm, f/6.3, 1/100. I have a Sony 50mm f/1.8 and I’m having the same issue so I know that it’s not only happening on my sigma. Even when…

Blurry photos when uploaded to iPad, any ideas why?

Blurry photos when uploaded to iPad, any ideas why? I’ve transferred the same photo two ways: Via creators app to iPhone Via sdcard adapter to iPad Both are not compressed and are showing raw 32mp. When zooming in on the iPhone the photo is fine but when I zoom in on the iPad it gets extremely blurry at the same zoom distance. Any idea why this is? submitted by /u/Codenameice
