Hospital sending me a bill after I already paid the balance I recently paid off a hospital ER bill of 200 dollars. I made 4 payments of 50 dollars from July to October. I did one payment over the phone with them (which I have an email notification and bank statement to prove) and I made three payments on their website. All of a sudden….I see that the balance is 100 dollars. Then I get a bill from them….

Why is the bridal shop requiring the balance be paid in cash? Sorry if this doesn’t belong here. I’m just really curious and couldn’t think of where else to ask (and Google wasn’t super helpful). My friend is getting married. She bought her dress from a small bridal shop (not a chain) that has been there as long as I can remember. We picked out bridesmaid dresses when she picked her wedding dress (same vis…

Help with flooring – how to balance more wood, or should we do tile?

Help with flooring – how to balance more wood, or should we do tile? The carpet in the dining room has to go with urgency. We had decided on large form black tile, continuing from the front door (pictured) through the kitchen. The dining room continues into the larger family room . We are wondering if that would be too bold of a choice, but don’t know how else to balance out the wood ceilings and cabinets through…

Balance transfer cards offering 0% for 18 months

Balance transfer cards offering 0% for 18 months Only costs usually 3-5% upfront depending on the card, but not due immediatelly, just tacked onto principal. Just curious why this isn’t advocated more for on this sub. I’ve been doing this for years to avoid paying the +20% interest rates otherwise. For someone who is managing cc debt and paying it down, this is a good method. I don’t have the…

Left / Right Balance accessibility on Bluetooth Calls (discord, etc.) doesn’t work on Windows / Android, and no one seems to care.

Left / Right Balance accessibility on Bluetooth Calls (discord, etc.) doesn’t work on Windows / Android, and no one seems to care. It’s “by design” because Bluetooth microphones are in a “mono” mode, that’s really a poor excuse and right left-balance is important for some people with hearing difficulties. Someone needs to light a fire under the bluetooth SIG companies and hold them accountable for sitting on their hands for decades Even LE Audio (which is still largely vap…
