Should I open a 0% APR Credit Card while waiting to be paid?

Should I open a 0% APR Credit Card while waiting to be paid? I’m receiving my paycheck sometime in late September for 9 months of work, but I need roughly 1500 USD to get by until then. Would it be a bad idea to open a 0% APR credit card, use it for my daily expenses (groceries, travel, etc.) and pay it all off in September? Or would that destroy my credit score since I wouldn’t be paying monthly amounts….

It was like 3% for 18 months if I basically use it as a balance transfer card. Since I already have the card, would this be considered new credit?
