Anyone applied fabric wallpaper with liquid starch? I can deal with the minor bubbling but the I don’t care for the splotchiness. This is happening in all the areas where I had to apply additional starch to smooth out bigger ripples and bubbles. It has dried overnight so I don’t think it is still wet. Could it be from using broadcloth fabric that is 65% polyester and only 35% cotton? Would 100% c…
Rental company changed 3x rent from gross income to net income, AFTER we applied. My husband and i have been searching for a house in our budget and we found one, viewed it, and applied. On the application, it CLEARLY STATES that the income requirement is based off of GROSS INCOME. We prepared our budget for this as it is typically standard, and after seeing it clearly stated on the application we moved forward with the proce…

About 7 hours after I applied my makeup and 12k steps later, I think the key to not looking like an oilfield is a matte fixing spray! submitted by /u/rabbitsredux
Anyone else find false lashes uncomfortable applied under the lash? Does anyone find it uncomfortable to have eyelashes applied under the lash? I tried applying the weekies lashes underneath and it always felt like something was there, especially when trying to sleep or close my eyes. Am I doing something wrong here? applying them too close to my lid maybe? submitted by /u/Dry_Technician21
I asked for some makeup tips on here from you guys, I applied them! I know that I still have to work on my brows, and it’s not perfect but I really love the suggestions I got! I used brown mascara, no bottom liner, and some different shades of eyeshadow, along with a bit more blush as suggested. submitted by /u/lindsayhope55
After lots of very considerate feedback (thank you so much), I have applied some of the newer suggestions to my makeup… (Before and after) Brown eyeliner instead of black (pencil instead of liquid as well), neutral warm brown and cream eyeshadow instead of the bright and cool pink, more subtle blush, less highlight. Constructive criticism is more than welcome! I’m still trying to think of ways to keep makeup a little more bold than this, but this is where I’m at at the moment. I’m…
LPT In an emergency, an ordinary hand sanitizing spray applied to sweaty places completely removes body odor. Disclaimer! -Do not use it on a dialy basis, as it dries out the skin. -It removes body odor by killing bacteria with alcohol, but if you’re still sweating, you’ll get odor back, so keep that antiperspirant at hand. submitted by /u/velatieren
Will my US ETSA be granted if I applied for the Green Card lottery and didn’t get accepted? Last November, I applied for the Green Card Lottery as a UK citizen. In May, my application was denied in the first round of “screening”. As in, literally as soon as you were able to check your result, it was a no. No big deal – I’m not actually very interested in emigrating to the US, I just wanted to see what the outcome would be! Perhaps th…
Applied for wrong card and still want the intended 1, but both are Chase. Will I qualify for a decent credit limit? I just applied for the first one (the wrong one) last week. They already send the wrong card and it is activated. I don’t mind keeping it too since I can take advantage of a $750 travel dollars. submitted by /u/ContestEfficient2629
Applied for a mortgage, bombarded by spam calls. The other day I applied for a new morrgage on a vacation/second home. Within minutes I’ve begun getting spam to the tune of 30+ calls/texts a day. I’ve applied for credit a number of times in the past without this happening. Is this because I used Bank of America for the first time , based on a referral from a peer? submitted by /u/Cxc292…
UPDATE: applied the advice I received and these are the results Applied an extra layer of moisture Added eyeliner and did the brows Added blush and lipstick Thank you guys for the great advice! submitted by /u/61lipslikethegalaxy

Wallpaper applied to gypsum board gone wrong We have recently decided to change the wallpaper, and before installing the wallpaper we decided to use gypsum board underneath it. After the gypsum board was applied, 2 to 3 coats of white paint was applied to the gypsum board (originally the gypsum board’s color is green). So then wallpaper was applied. We were surprised to find that the wallp…
Hey guys! I recently got into photography and would love you opinion and feedback on this. Edited this in lightrrom, applied one of the ‘spring’ preset and made adjustments from there on. Thanks! submitted by /u/Fantastic_One8815
What order should be makeup applied I saw a post maybe a month ago where someone was telling how they went through their makeup and what is in them to know which ones had alcohol/oil (can’t really remember what it was?) so they can apply everything in right order. It got me thinking my own makeup products and whether I’m actually applying them in the wrong order based on what the…
I applied a dust and scratches filter to the background of this photo in an attempt to remove backscatter (white specks/blobs from light reflecting off suspended particulates in the water) from the background. Does it look weird or unnatural? submitted by /u/Kamaros182
Global Entry – anybody applied recently? I’m interested in applying for Global Entry but am hearing it’s taking 4-6 months to get it. I’m also hearing that people are getting it within weeks. My issue is that I’m traveling within the next few months and don’t know if I should just sign up for TSA pre check or see how the wait for Global Entry pans out. Aren’t the wait times related to …
