LPT if you have a blender bottle that has rancid protein smell in it, shake some rubbing alcohol inside then rinse thoroughly. It’s always instantly removed the smell for me. This has always worked with the “Blender Bottle” brand bottles. I’d imagine it would work with any similar material.
