LPT: if you have dull scissors, cut strips of aluminium foil to sharpen them I came across this after becoming annoyed by the three pairs of dull scissors I have, and to my amazement it actually does work. Step 1: Take a length of foil about 50cm/20in long, fold it over itself along its length until the strip is about 5cm/2in wide.
