LPT: Don’t use black soap. The color of the water and the soap residue also turns black/grey and soils the entire sink I was given a black soap and use it regularly. LPT: if you have a bird feeder that’s getting ransacked by squirrels and other critters, add red pepper flakes to the bird seed mix (may also work for keeping critters out of your vegetable garden) Unlike squirrels and other critters, birds have evolved to be unresponsive to heat/pain we associate with eating hot peppers (Capsaicin is the specific chemical compound at play).
