Am I right in understanding that if I have an HSA but can afford most of my medical expenses out of pocket, to do that and invest my HSA money? (US) I think I’m reading right where if I can afford those costs just on my own, I can then invest my HSA money and reimburse myself for everything down the road right? I can track expenses, dates, and receipts no problem for the long haul. Just making sure I am understanding correctly submitted by /u/andrewsmd87

I owe more than what my car is worth, and I can’t afford the repairs it needs to pass inspection In 2020, my husband and I bought a used 2015 Buick Encore (did not know at the time that it is literally the worst car ever made!). LPT: If you’re not sure you can afford a pet, ask your local shelters if they have a foster program. They’re often free and a win-win-win for you, the shelter, and the animals. Key word here is foster – not adopt. Many shelters have more animals than they can care for, and need people to provide temporary homes for these furry friends. And often, these programs are set up in a way that when you take in one of these animals, you are given everything you need – their food, litter box and litter, toys, any medical expens…
