Which British music act made it big in the USA but not in the UK?

Which British music act made it big in the USA but not in the UK? For instance, The Killers and Kings of Leon are more popular in the UK than they are in the USA. However I can’t think of an act who has done the opposite! I’ve asked friends and the two answers they’ve given me are Bush and Def Leppard. I’m interested to know if there are more out there. They don’t include meals (unless you spend a lot extra on an upgrade) which is baffling on a 7+ hour flight. Every flight had crumbs an…

What was the worst opening act you’ve seen at a concert?

What was the worst opening act you’ve seen at a concert? For the sake of clarity, and maybe inspiration, “worst opening act” doesn’t necessarily mean the artist/s themselves were terrible (although it can), but they had a very bad performance, didn’t gel with the lead act, etc. I’m curious about your experiences. submitted by /u/whitesox-fan

Is The Act worth watching? I’ve just learned about this whole case and it’s both fascinating yet deeply disturbing that I’m not sure I could stomach a whole season of watching it. Is it that good that it’s worth a watch? submitted by /u/Deserana12

This, in econ, means that item is “elastic” — and cars are certainly elastic. Based on Ford’s latest price drops on the Mustang Mach-E, EVs are no exception. Read more…
