Is this lens flare? Tamaron 70-180 G2 Cropped, exporsure adjusted Hi all, Was out testing the new Tamaron 70-180 G2 on my A7IV and noticed this odd light phenomena in one of the photos. The lens has a Tamaron 67mm UV filter on and no lens hood. Curious if anyone is able to tell if this is actually lens flare, or just the light bouncing through the window? I’ve included one exposur…

Sony 24-70 F2.8 GM II hit to the wall when extended

Sony 24-70 F2.8 GM II hit to the wall when extended I need help with my paranoia. I accidentally hit the front of the lens from the side against the wall. It was a Sony 24-70 F2.8 GM II lens and it was extended to 70mm. My concern is whether it is possible to damage the zoom mechanism when the lens is extended with such lighter hit ? 24-70 or prime?

LPT: Limit the volume on your earbuds and headphones to 70 decibels or less. Both iPhone and Android have settings to allow this. Just a few hours at 85 decibels or above can cause permanent hearing loss. And tinnitus is something you don’t want for the rest of your life. Do yourself a favor. Turn it down. submitted by /u/NCRider

How do I fall in love with my 24-70?

How do I fall in love with my 24-70? I have a ton of primes! 40 2.5, 50 1.2, 85 1.4, 105 2.8 & 1.4. I have a 70-200 2.8, a 17-28 2.8, 200-600 f-something, and a black sheep of a 24-70 2.8 GMii. I just can’t get into the 24-70. Every time I pop that bad boy out on a family shoot, I just dislike it’s result compared to the primes or 70-200. My 85 is my favorite lens. Second to my 10…
