Canon EF 600mm on M50? I shoot on a canon M50 mirrorless camera, which is ofcoarse a rather small body. Will this camera be able to handle a Canon EF 600mm f/4 IS II USM? submitted by /u/CantaloupeWeary8966
When to use lens stablasation? SONY 200-600MM with A7iii Hello reader, I hope you’re doing well! I am a amateur photographer from the UK, and I do a lot of wildlife photography using the A7iii and the Sony 200-600mm lens. I am going to invest in a Monopod and Gimbal head in the near future (I treck a lot of rough ground, so a Tripod isn’t attractive to me currently). However, for the time being, whe…
Bird photography upgrade from Canon 7D mkii + Sigma 150-600mm? I want to upgrade my bird photography set up, but overwhelmed by choice. I currently have a Canon 7D Mark ii and a Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary. I’m relatively happy with it, but I think it falls short in image sharpness and low-light noise. I think I am approaching the shutter limit of the camera body, so I will be forced to buy a new body r…
First test with sigma 150-600mm contemporary + D600, any suggestions? submitted by /u/Haulpa
Sony 200-600mm G worth it for soccer photography? Hey guys, I’m leaning towards picking up the Sony 200-600mm G lens to mainly shoot professional soccer. It needs to be able to use at evening matches as well, so would the F5.6-6.3 be a problem for the sharpness and AF-speed in low light conditions? I’m also in doubt if 200mm would be too far on the short end. What do you think? Is it worth the …
Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 vs Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 (C) DG OS HSM Contemporary, which one would you recommend? I wonder which one should I get. Thanks in advance, submitted by /u/honeydew969
1200mm equivalent bridge camera vs. 300/600mm lens on APS-C? Hey, I currently own a Canon PowerShot SX540 HS and I’m shooting targets from very far away (1km+). The images on the PowerShot turn out alright but how would the stack up against a mid-tier APS-C DSLR with something like a 300mm or 600mm lens? If I were to crop the pictures from the APS-C, how drastic would the differences in sharpness, contras…
Budget-friendly tripod recommendations for Sony 200-600mm lens setup? I upgraded my kit a couple of months ago and brought a Sony A7R3 and 200-600mm, both used, but now I think the next step is to get a suitable tripod for these. I know this kit new is expensive so most people have no problem spending a lot on a tripod to hold it, most of the articles I have been reading are talking about tripods for £300+ but tha…
Sigma 150-600mm Sigma 150-600mm I need thoughts/comments. I currently have a 2000d but am soon going into a college degree where i can have pretty much any canon dsir i want. But anyway my main body rn is 2000d as i haven’t really had time to upgrade or money but i’m looking to hire the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM SPORT as i have a upcoming wildlife trip…
Why is my lens wobbling so bad on a tripod? Is this normal? This was my attempt at shooting the super moon last night. Sigma 150-600mm fully extended at 600mm. This was my attempt at shooting the super moon last night. After hitting the shutter, the extended end of the lens would wobble around for about 10 seconds and messed up my shots. You can see in this long exposure the circles the lights made from the lens wobbling around. It looks kind of neat but it wasn’t the effect I wanted. Lens is a Sigma …
