Talk me out of using Roth IRA Contributions to pay down my 30yr 6.125% mortgage? The mortgage is fairly small (~$95k; $608/mo) but really weighing me down mentally. I’m already paying an extra ~$800/mo and intend to contribute an additional ~$700/mo once my car is paid off this October(1.54%). If my estimates are right, these extra payments on the principal alone should allow me to pay off the mortgage in just under 5 years…
