I paid off a CC, and I get an offer in the mail that says they’ll give me really low apr for 18 months if I transfer any debt onto it. Would this be considered taking out new credit? I recently paid off about 8k in debt, and so my credit score has gone up as well. One cc that I paid off sent me this offer in the mail. It was like 3% for 18 months if I basically use it as a balance transfer card. Since I already have the card, would this be considered new credit? In other words, would this ding my credit score? submitte…
